My name is Fionn Patrick and I have been a performing and recording musician for 15 years now. I started taking private lessons when my family relocated to the Isle of Arran, Scotland in 1994 when I was aged 11. Throughout high school I learned my craft by performing and recording with popular local bands. In 2000 I left Arran for the “big smoke” and spent a couple of years studying at The Guitar Institute in London.
On return from London I spent the next 5 years performing with many bands and also had the pleasure of touring with Wet Wet Wet, Beverley Knight, Westlife, Amy MacDonald, Shane Ward and Booty Luv among others. I also enjoyed chart success with the band Outbox when our debut single “How To Fly” hit Top 40 in 2007.
I now reside in the West End of Glasgow providing both acoustic and electric guitar lessons to students in my home in Kelvingrove, Glasgow.
I also work as a media producer between my home studio and
A-Side Studios, just off Maryhill Road, Glasgow.
I have included some recommended tools that I have used along the way and I still use as I aim to continually better myself. One thing I have found over the years is how important time keeping is regardless of what style or instrument you play.
